The hate mob just likes to trash talk and insult all the "fanboys" and ""white knights" of any game their youtube overlords have deemed unworthy. The herd mentality that people who follow him, Jim Sterling, Yongyea and the like is insufferable. He does insert objective criticism into all his reviews but when he goes negative he usually goes way over the top and it invites this edgy crowd of followers that act like if you dare oppose these exalted YouTuber opinions then "you're what's wrong with the gaming industry". His negative reviews really put me off because of how pissy he gets. I only watch his reviews now if it's one he enjoys. You can search "patch" in the search bar and the first post is the one where they said this. We'll get a better cadence on conversing with our players once we're not working overtime to meet the players' standard they've set for us =]" In other words: we have to evaluate what you guys want as the next steps and then figure out the roadmap to get there. (Big technical jargon talk) - We have to identify which vectors are worth pursuing, which ones we can realistically accomplish in the lifespan of this game, and which ones are worth investigating if we can even pull off as stretch goals. The other item I see currently is resource allocation: Godfall came out with a vision, and it is being molded by what our core audience wants to see next. Granted most of the time bug fixes come from the engineering's team ability to reproduce and fix the issues listed, along with the priority/severity of the issue - but even this is something people can complain about
#Sekiro patches the looter Patch#
For example, I could say "the next patch is aimed to address a large batch of bugfixes" - that type of language immediate spirals into "Which bugs?" and "Why not these bugs" or "Why did you do those bugs?" (or worse, derailed into conversations that are not patch-related) when I do not have answers ready for that.
Let me be clear, it's not that I do not want to open conversations with people here about the game, it's that I'm currently armed with nothing to say. Right now the designers have their heads buried deep with all the items listed in this subreddit which means they're too occupied to provide commentary on items - and I will not talk on behalf of things I do not know, nor have certainty on. That type of conversation is not very conducive to the thread (it's basically meaningless). "I would love to go around posting more often in this subreddit but at the time the only thing I can really say to most of the feedback threads is "Seen" or "Read" - there's nothing I can add to the discussion since our team is hard at work on these items. Of course, learning these attack patterns is the key to defeating all of Sekiro’s bosses, so any change here basically makes them new enemies entirely.I'm so bad at linking posts, but this is what the CM said recently: And to go even further, there’s Gauntlet of Strength which lets you make a single life run against the bosses featured in the game.Īnd making that even worse, many of the bosses such as Genichiro Ashina, Father Owl and Sword Saint Isshin all use different attack patterns than they did in the main game. If you really enjoy punishment then it seems Sekiro has you in mind. Reflection changes the game so that any Sculptor’s Idol can be used to fight against previously defeated bosses. Both are focused around the main selling point of Sekiro, the bosses. Added new feature, “Gauntlet of Strength”Īt this point you may be asking yourself, ‘what are Reflection of Strength and Gauntlet of Strength’.Added new feature, “Reflection of Strength”.Added “Change Form” feature, which allows players to change their appearance.Added “Remnant” network feature, which allows recording and sharing player actions.
#Sekiro patches the looter update#
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Update 1.05 Patch Notes And now that fantastic game just got a whole lote better with update patch 1.05. The game might not have won our site’s game of the year, but it certainly impressed us in our review. This patch is what separates the original release from the new Game of the Year edition. In fact, the game just got a huge new update. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice may be close to a year old, but that doesn’t mean it’s done adding new content.
